I really poured my heart into this song. It's about grieving the fact that we as humans are not truly free, but also about the power of our dreams, hopes and passions. Its about the sleeper, who becomes the dreamer in the process of the song, realizing not all is lost. Just because we do not have any wings, doesn't mean we don't get to fly as well :)

Every single sound you can hear in this song was made and/or recorded by me.

Funfact: The bird you can hear in the recording is in tune with the guitar - completely by coincidence! (pretty awesome, huh!)
Funfact no.2: The vocals were recorded in one single, continuous take! (not the very first take tho haha ;D)
